Blue denim with old gold - this rich collection of fabrics and trims is ideal for slow stitching projects, textile art, or just to use in other sewing projects. Stuffed full of little pieces of vintage or salvaged fabrics and embellishments that can be snipped and sewn onto a denim foundation piece, these kits are a great introduction to slow sewing and textile art, and I think they make great gifts for teenagers. Available in 2 sizes - both have the same pieces; the larger box has a second foundation piece in a different colour denim, and even more trims and embellishments. Your box will include needles and pins, and my introduction to slow stitching leaflet and stitching guide (you can swap this for an emailed copy plus extra textiles - see options). Textiles include: - blue denim foundation fabric - scraps of fabrics from preloved clothes, including floral cotton prints, check flannel shirt and baby cord - offcuts from craft projects including Indonesian batik dyed linen-cotton and sari silk ribbons - a scrap of antique Welsh quilt - snippets of vintage cotton crochet motif and laces - salvaged upholstery braids, ribbon and ric-rac - hand-dyed linen yarn and fluffy knitting wools - old buttons (will vary) - embroidery threads in different colours - reel or bobbin of sewing thread (colours vary)

You can cancel the order and get a refund from the maker within 14 days of receipt, provided the item has not been used. Faulty items can be returned within six months of payment being made.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
I love the traditional old-gold colour stitching on the seam of blue jeans, and just had to do a themed bundle that picks it out
Recommended for adults and children over 14. Warning: Contains pins and needle with a functional sharp point. Keep out of reach of small children. Allergen: wool contains lanolin, vintage fabrics have unknown materials and dyes.
