Helen Burgess Jewellery, is literally just me Helen, I make jewellery from my shed studio in my back garden, my bedroom office and anywhere in the house in the evening. Much of my work is inspired by the nature of my home island of Mersea, near Colchester, Essex. As well as my love of simple design and textured metal surfaces.
The materials I regularly make jewellery from are recycled sterling silver, recycled gold, sterling silver, copper, 14ct gold filled, and occasionally brass. Semi-precious stones, precious stones and beads are also featured in my work.
Unfortunately due to new laws for a small business it is no longer workable without the threat of being fined to send my jewellery to the EU including Northern Ireland without a representative. Sending my work elsewhere in the world also seems increasingly more expensive and complicated for a one woman band to contend with. My deepest heartfelt apologies for this inconvenience.

The texture and shape have been inspired by pebbles, found on many a coastal walk. Although I live on an Island, I love visiting the sea wherever I am.

Full description
A small piece of recycled sterling silver has been hammered against concrete to create a stone pebble like surface and cut into a teardrop pebble shape. A recycled sterling silver wire has been soldered to the top of the teardrop to wrap around itself to form the bail.
The pebble by itself measures 0.9cm x 0.7cm, with the bail the height is 1.45cm
The chain measures 45cm, but can be made shorter or longer if preferred.
It can take between 2 - 5 days before being dispatched.
