Many years ago I did a series of similar works. After years of exploring other styles and subject matter I was drawn back to the simple beauty of a flower and decided to do another collection - this time on dramatic dark backgrounds.
I love the way the colours shine outwards from the dark backdrop, and focus your eye on the subject.
