Full description
This is my embossed ceramic heart ring dish, it can also be used as an incense cone burner.
This handcrafted ceramic dish has been created using the slab-work method and embossed with a mandala design before shaping into a mould. Once dried it has been bisque fired to 1000C and hand-painted with a coloured glaze and a clear glaze has been added. After glazing it has had a second firing in the kiln to 1080C.
Approximate size: 7cm x 7cm
Due to the handmade nature and natural materials each piece is unique with subtle variations in size, shape, and finish.
Self-adhesive cork has been applied to the base to protect surfaces.
Inspiration: The addition of carved mandala Indian stamps creates beautiful designs.
