About this item
A large 57cm wool sculpture from my lockdown wine collection - an homage to the Chef Keith Floyd. Needlefelted on a wire armature and fixed to a wood slice, he holds a plastic wine glass filled with resin (non-spill!) red wine and a small wooden spoon. The figure is all made from wool: the clothing, features and eyes.

During lockdown I had an idea to create some wine related wool sculptures. There was the Chef de Party, the Marinated Duck and the Coq au VIn. The Chef de Party was based on the chef Keith Floyd.
