Christmas Orders & Black Friday
A little note for Christmas shoppers and to let my lovely customers know that I won't be participating in Black Friday this year, or offering a Black Friday discount.
I'm a small, independent maker. Every piece of glass is made to order, so I don't have huge quantities sitting here ready to ship in a sale just before Christmas, and handmade takes a little longer.
Rather than waiting until the end of November to see if prices are reduced, ordering early is the safest way to make sure I have time to make it for you and to get your order on its way before the Christmas post deadlines.
Thank you so much for choosing handmade and supporting my small business this Christmas. Every order really does mean a lot.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A miniature, free-standing Rainbow Bridge with optional clouds and name personalisation. Handmade in the UK, from high-quality, fully tested and compatible art glass that has been fused in a kiln.
Can be ordered as a plain rainbow, with clouds or a name added, or include both. Each type is available in transparent or opaque rainbow-coloured glass, with the clouds always being opaque. The transparent glass allows sunlight to shine through, creating a beautiful display of colours on any surface. The opaque colours are more vibrant when placed on a darker surface. The 3D letters are made from powdered glass turned into clay and then permanently fused onto the glass base in a kiln. For names longer than eight letters, please message me first to check whether I can make them.
Measures approximately 7cm long, 4cm high, and 1.7cm wide. Adding clouds and a name will slightly increase the size.
Comes with a choice of card:
- 'A rainbow is a promise of sunshine after the rain', on small folded card with envelope.
- 'No longer by my side, Forever in my heart, We will meet again at Rainbow Bridge, And never be apart', on small folded card with envelope.
- 'The Rainbow Bridge' poem - printed on a postcard.
If this is a gift, I can write a message on the card for you.
Please note that each rainbow is made to order, so slight variations may occur from the pictures shown. If you would like to see a photo of the finished piece, I'll be happy to send one before shipping - just ask in a message.
It typically takes me 3-4 working days to have your order ready to ship. However, please allow up to one week for processing.
