Full description

Fused glass shallow dish in an open squares design, using clear glass, teamed with a pretty transparent aqua. Constructed from a series of 3cm squares laid out in an interlocking grid pattern, edged with strips of aqua, and fired to a temperature that maintains some texture but allows the edges to soften and round off.

Once the flat blank had cooled it was kiln-fired for a second time over a ceramic mould to give the pleasing upturned edges. Approx 14cm square, with a maximum depth of just under 3cm. Suitable for all manner of small articles, or just for decoration, the dish looks particularly pretty on a sunny windowsill where it can catch the light.
