There is the most wonderful fire in these opals, they really are quite stunning. The opals are fastened to a delicate gold vermeil chain which,in turn, fastens with a hook clasp.
Opals are the birthstone for October and also a stone given as a 14th wedding anniversary gift.
It is believed that opals can help to enhance self worth, encourages an interest in the arts and is associated with love and passion!
Gold vermeil is a technique of gold plating...it is a thick layer of gold over solid sterling silver giving the luxurious look of solid gold but without the high price tag.
