About this item
A unique silver wire work Robin hanging decoration handmade with silver filled wire, crystals and seed beads. This cute Robin would look lovely hanging in your home at any time of the year. Perfect also to hang on your Christmas tree. I have used 10% silver filled copper wire to make this Robin. 1mm wire is formed into a Robin shape and with swirls of wire which I have attached for the birds wing and breast and has a heart shaped detail for the tail. I have gently hammered the finished shape with a chasing hammer to strengthen. Red crystal beads, light brown coloured crystal beads and brown seed beads are wrapped around the shape using .4mm wire with a black crystal bead for the eye and a gold coloured seed bead for the beak. I have twisted wire for the loop and completed with a handcrafted hook for hanging. This decoration measures 9cm wide and 9.5cm in length from the top of the hook. measurements are approximate. The wire I have used for this decoration is 10% sterling silver filled copper wire (sterling silver bonded to a copper centre). It has a much thicker layer of sterling silver plated wire and is more durable. This Robin will be carefully wrapped and delivered to you by Royal Mail first class post.
