I have finally got back to work in the last couple weeks following an unexpected hiatus from the turn of 2026. However this did give me the opportunity to rethink a few things and come up with some new ideas. Amongst these are the introduction of colour by way of painted glass used in some of the trinket pots.
Just a reminder that apart from exceptionally large pieces my items are delivered free of charge by Royal Mail, second class.
The inspiration for this bowl is derived from a ceramic piece that one of my granddaughters pointed out to me when she visited a design museum in Holland.
I wanted to achieve a simple but elegant design using a rich looking wood.

Turned in Bubinga this elegant bowl can be used for a variety of purposes or simply as a decorative item. It has a dulled hardwearing lacquered finish and then waxed to give a warm satin sheen.
