About this item
This unique hand made brooch is developed from a traditional Dorset Cross Wheel button worked in cotton thread and decorated with sparkling matching beads. The main colour is a variegated shade of grey with the spokes laid in a contrast shade of red. The tiny glass beads are added to the button as part of its construction and so are totally secure. The patterns of spokes and ridges worked is created by the artist as the mood takes and so will not be repeated. The brooch is finished with a hand stitched metal brooch fastening. The brooch is worked on a 32mm metal ring and is light to post and makes a perfect small present for the person who has everything!

I love making traditional Dorset buttons and wanted to produce something respecting the heritage of the craft but given a contemporary edge and immensely wearable too.

If you were going for upgrades, I would suggest more colour photos, to make it easier to see the detail and or instructions for non-traditional effects
