About this item
This corsage is made up of several different types of Dorset button worked in toning shades of pale blue and mauve cotton. The buttons include a ball shaped Dorset Knob, several small cross wheels and some tiny bird's eye buttons. Each button is individually wired and bound with floristry tape and the smaller ones bound together as clusters. This means that the position of each button can be adjusted as required. The corsage is mounted on an artificial leaf and securely fixed to a simple brooch fastening. The maximum overall length is approximately 12 cm and width 5 cm. The corsage is light to wear and makes a lovely lasting statement, perfect for wedding buttonholes.

I attended a floristry workshop that involved wiring flowers to create a floral crown. As I was working I wondered whether the technique would transfer to my button work. It does and the first corsage that I made was purchased by a florist!

If you were going for upgrades, I would suggest more colour photos, to make it easier to see the detail and or instructions for non-traditional effects
