Solid wood picture frames crafted in my workshop from carefully selected tight grained pine.
They are complete with gallery standard anti-reflective, UV protective acrylic fronts. They also have a bevel cut mountboard ( if you wish, you can specify the aperture required in the mount board). The backboard complete with curly upstand is simply held in place with turn buttons and sawtooth hangers allow you to hang the frame in either portrait or landscape positions. (Only frames 12"x10" and smaller are supplied with a curly upstand).
The frame size listed is the glass size not the mount board aperture size. The following list is a guide to which size frame is best suited to print size if you wish to use the mountboard.
8" x 6" frame... best suited for a... 6" x 4" print
9" x 7" frame… best suited for a ...7" x 5" print
10" x 8" frame... best suited for a ...8" x 6" print
12" x 10" frame... best suited for a ...10" x 8" print
14" x 11" frame... best suited for an ...A4......print
16" x 12" frame... best suited for a ...12" x 8" print
18" x 14" frame... best suited for a ...14" x 10"print
20" x 16" frame... best suited for a ...16" x 12"print
No two frames will be the same as grain and knots will vary. The frames in the photographs are a good representation of the frame you will receive.
All frames are made to order so please allow 5 days before dispatch.
