Siberian Chrome Diopside is now classified as a rare gemstone due to it's unavailabilty on a regular basis. It is mined for a few weeks a year during the cold Siberian summer! Each year fewer miners are entering this hostile environment to retrieve this beautiful natural coloured rough mineral, thus driving up the prices for what is available each year to be cut by skilled lapidorists throughout the world into beautiful gemstones. To cut shapes such as flowers takes time by skilled lapidorists, making them expensive.
Only two made, one has sold to a Folksy customer already.
This necklace is protected by copyright design, including using different gemstones types, cuts, including images and original artwork. All forms of infringement will be challenged via the registered Trading Standards Office working in conjunction with the NAJ for their members.

A fabulous sustainable designer statement necklace created using rare genuine Siberian Chrome Diopside long toothed irregular shaped gemstones, peridot pear cut and amethyst round cut gemstones, complimented with flower cut abalone shell.
Amethyst and peridot pick out the natural vibrant colours in the abalone shell. Between them are 2.5mm 925 sterling silver spacer beads adding a touch of luxury and sparkle. For the main construction coated professional stainless steel jewellers wire has been used for added strength and lasting durability, finished off with a strong hook shaped 925 sterling silver clasp.
The necklace finished length is 24"inches (62 cms).
