Genuine malachite is difficult to obtain showing good strong colour with it's famous natural ring formation. Unfortunately, there are unscrupulous sellers including jewellers who are selling dyed howlite or magnasite as malachite! The tell tale signs to raise suspicion for the general public is price. If malachite jewellery is priced cheaply it's probably not genuine malachite. A garnatee of authenticity can be provided by Demelza Designs upon request with any malachite jewellery purchased.

A lovely pair of sterling silver earrings hand crafted using genuine malachite rounds. Malachite has been a favourite gemstones in recent years by top fashion houses and jewellery designers for it's beautiful green colour. In good quality a natural ring formation should be visible to the naked eye.
Malachite has been found to be miss sold within the trade and the craft fraternity when dyed marcasite or howolite has been used however, gemstones have been tested by professionals in Demelza Designs jewellery.
These earrings will come in a clear sealed polythene bag for hygiene and inspection purposes, placed within a quality lined orange cloth jewellery pouch. Please refer to folksy.pro returns policy for sealed personal items.
The earrings are ready to be dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment, delivered by Royal Mail Signed For service as standard.
