About this item
Tiny intricately stitched applique doves flying into the blue heavens. This card could be used for any number of times, as the symbolism of doves of peace are connected to birth and death, engagement, weddings and even Christmas! Hand embroidered details complete the intricately hand-stitched design. The birds are worked on a blue hand-dyed background fabric. The card measures 12 x 9 cm (5" x 3.5") and comes with a white recycled paper envelope in a clear protective compostable (cornstarch) sleeve - no plastic! The card is signed on the front and my studio stamp is on the back. The title is also written: 'Flight of Doves'. Cards are made from stout 100% recycled card - blank inside. I always post promptly first class, and your card will be wrapped carefully and sent in good packaging to protect corners from damage on its way to you. Additional cards only 20p postage per item. I have listed this under 'sympathy' as I was thinking of the death of a baby, and what would you send? Maybe this....but it could be for any number of occasions as the card is blank inside. I have titled the design 'Flight of Doves, as 'flight' is the collective noun for doves!
