Price includes 1st class Royal Mail delivery This is a small greeting card features a hand-stitched miniature applique with embroidered details. The fabrics used are pretty vintage cotton prints and my own hand-dyed recycled cotton from which I have cut the tiny applique hearts as well as the violet backing. Perfect for a birthday and many other special times as well! My cards measure 12 x 9 cm (3.5” x 5”) and come with recycled paper envelopes in a clear compostable sleeve - no plastic! Each card is signed on the front and my studio stamp is on the back. Cards are made from stout 100% recycled card - blank inside. I always post promptly first class, and your card will be wrapped carefully and sent in good packaging to protect corners from damage on its way to you. Ref: C826

I have been collecting vintage French and English cotton print remnants for many years to use in my work, and hate to waste any of these pieces of beautifully printed fabrics, so I use the tiniest pieces in my cards. The colours are muted because of their age but also because of the old dye-stuffs used before modern chemicals and processes were introduced. I love them, both the patterns and the colours.
