Tourmaline is now commanding extremely high prices worldwide. On the 21st August '20 I saw a sterling silver AA grade beaded tourmaline necklace for over £1635.00 in a 'Crystals' shop in Truro! The size of the gemstones where much smaller than the tourmaline gemstones in this necklace offered for sale with only a small sterling silver clasp!
By purchasing from the designer/maker cuts out all of the middle men's mark ups including the end retailer jeweller adding on at least 200% from their purchase within the trade!

A beautiful feminine hand crafted necklace designed in Cornwall using high grade AA quality graduating in size tourmaline ovals with heart cut graduating in size rare rhodolite garnet genuine gemstones. This is a true 'one off' piece of jewellery and I am unable to replace the gemstones from within the trade. One tourmaline is an extremely rare 'Pariaba Blue' in colour.
The item has been constructed using professional flexible stainless steel jewellers wire for added strength and lasting durability, finished off with gold vermeil clasp D ring and crimp covers and decorative spacer beads.
The term gold vermeil can only be used if a layer of gold has been electroplated over sterling silver. It has the appearance of solid gold, but less expensive making it more affordable for those seeking quality gemstone jewellery. It would make a perfect accessory for the professional working lady to wear without being over ostentatious on a daily bases for work, or for more formal evening occasions.
The finished necklace length is 18"inches (45.5 cms). It is ready to be dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment, delivered by Royal Mail NextWorking Day Special Delivery. It will come in a orange and cream satin lined presentation box.
