All sea water and culture freshwater pearls are valued on their natural even lacra formation, size and even shape. Demelza jewellery pricing is based on these values plus the string strand and precious metal costs plus a modest labour cost.
Some pearl strands are very cheap, due to poor quality, some can costs hundreds of pounds per strand!

A beautiful eye catching genuine freshwater pearl necklace hand crafted in Cornwall using top quality pearls. All of the natural pearls display even sizes with a good lacra with no ring markings or pitting. This would make a perfect necklace for the brides mother or for the professional working lady whom appreciates individuality whilst valuing quality genuine gemstone jewellery without being over ostentatious.
The piece has been crafted using professional flexible strong coated stainless professional jewellers wire for added strength and lasting durability, thus avoiding the expensive process of having it professionally re-strung over time costing on avarage over £140.00!
The necklace has been finished off with a quality sterling silver clasp with small 2mm sterling silver spacer beads between each pearl. The finished length is 18" inches; an ideal length for everyday wear without intruding during daily activities.
