Jewellery pricing is based on gemstone strand and precious metal costs plus a modest labour charge.
Genuine freshwater pearls are valued on their natural luster, referred as lacra, even shape and colour. The less natural pitting marks within each pearl strand the higher the value. I could not find a similar quality rice pearl necklace in any local jewellers or high street jewellers chains for less than £490.00!

This beautiful plain sophisticated jewellers boutique quality necklace has been designed and hand crafted in Cornwall using high end quality large rice shape fresh water culture pearls displaying an even natural lacra on each one. Between each pearl is a faceted sterling silver bead to add a touch of opulence and to compliment the pearls.
I have created the necklace using professional stainless steel jewellers wire for added strength and durability, thus avoiding the need to have it re strung in time. It has been been finished off with a quality sterling silver clasp and the finished length is 17 1/2" inches. This is an ideal length for everyday wear or for more formal occasions if desired. A comparison necklace in most high street jewellers would cost considerably more as I am able to cut out the chain of middle men within the jewellery industry.
The item will come presented in a satin finish lined jewellery pouch.
The necklace will be dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment, delivered by Royal Mail 48-hour tracking service.
