This is an ode to my husband - who took over laundry duties 9 months ago (don't feel sorry for him, I have done a 25 year shift!) He is stunningly good at it...loads go out and in, he hangs the socks out in pairs - which makes me have a little chaos dance to restore some equilibrium - don't tell him but sometimes I mess up the cutlery drawer in the dishwasher to restore balance too!

Full description
These make me laugh, socks like bunting waving around the top of this jug, hanging in pairs with one rogue sock on the inside of the lip. I paint all my designs free hand in food safe underglaze colours and fire to high earthenware using lead free glaze.
This jug measures 20cm high and is a lovely shape, one of our favourites at home. it will accommodate 2 litres - or flowers. I back stamp and sign each piece, this design is called 'blow your socks off!' I paint a heart on the handle and attach an artist information card to the handle with jute string. I have other sizes available if this one is too big!
I wrap in tissue before using recycled materials (wherever possible to dispatch using first class Royal Mail.
