Distinctive jewellery for indivualists

I made my first necklace for myself when I wanted a piece of jewellery that was distinctive and suited my personality. I then went on to make individual pieces for friends and friends of friends. A local gallery in Suffolk where I live and work showed and sold my work so then I decided that opening an online shop would be a great way to show my jewellery to a wider audience. Each necklace I design is carefully created to combine colour, shape and materials. Although the individual component beads and pendants are generally ethnic in style, my aim is to combine them to give a contemporary modern feel. I’m half Welsh and cerrig is the Welsh word for pebbles or stones. My work predominantly features semi precious stones so this was a perfect name to describe my work. I buy the majority of my materials online and spend time searching for unusual beads and stones. My jewellery features components from Turkey, China, Indonesia and Africa.
