About this item
Meet Winnie. He may only be 4 inches tall, but he was once lauded as the "biggest" thing on any trading floor he stepped on. That was a long time ago, all he has left is what you see here. Made from basswood, and painted with acrylics.

Winnie stood on the pavement outside the glass tower that had once been his kingdom, the only thing left of his old life hanging from his shoulders. The suit was still perfect. Charcoal black, sharp at the shoulders, the white shirt crisp beneath it, the black bowler settled at the precise angle he had worn every morning for twenty-three years. Everything else was gone. The riverside flat. The cars. The carefully chosen art. The carefully chosen friends. Even the gold cufflinks had been sold that morning for the price of a single night in a cheap hotel and a sandwich he could not bring himself to eat. He had gambled once too often.
