Description

These minimalist earrings would be perfect for someone who wears understated jewellery. Handmade with recycled sterling silver, they would make a lovely gift. I created these earrings by shaping recycled sterling silver square wire into circles, adding gold filled circles and finishing with sterling silver ear pins. They are part of a collection of minimalist earrings handmade with sterling silver wire and filled gold. (Note: the gold filled wire has been created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal.) I wanted to create a range of simple earrings featuring silver and gold and these earrings are the latest addition to the collection. The earrings will arrive in a black jewellery box, complete with simple care instructions and a small square of silver polish.
