About this item
A super cute mini needle felted woodpecker model made from woollen fibres which are bound together and shaped using a barbed needle. The basic shape is formed using white core wool and then a top coat in appropriate colours is added. A beak made from an air dry clay, black acrylic half pearl eyes and wire legs and feet have then been attached. The woodpecker has been mounted on a small circular wooden slice with a hanging loop attached to the reverse of the slice to facilitate hanging of the woodpecker. The woodpecker has been designed to hang on a wall as a decorative item bound to initiate conversation. The woodpecker is approximately 10cm tall with the circular mount measuring 4cm in diameter.
