About this item
A beautiful oak bookmark - hand drawn and painted with a fabulous happy giraffe. These oak bookmarks, sustainably coppiced here in Wales, are incredibly tactile, the oak has a slight grain to it, making it lovely to hold, perfect for any book lover. Every one of my bookmarks is unique, whilst similar bookmarks may at some point be created - none will be exactly the same as this one, making them a wonderful gift for any avid reader. I create these by first drawing the design directly onto the wood, before using a mix of watercolour and acrylic paints to add the vibrant colours. I add the finer details using coloured pencil. This bookmark is finished off with a smart yellow ribbon. PRODUCT SIZE My oak bookmarks are approximately 22.5cm long x 3.5cm width x2mm deep. CARE INSTRUCTIONS These are decorative items and not suitable for heavy wear and tear, designed for indoor use only. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher - do not submerge in water. If your bookmark needs a clean, simply wipe with a slightly damp cloth. I also recommend It is best to keep them out of direct sunlight, to prevent colours fading.
