About this item
This brooch has a base of vintage cotton and is edged in buttonhole lace in a variegated thread. The front is decorated with gelli-printed fabric, a scrap of embroidered flowers from a damaged tablecloth, lace scraps, a domed button and beads. The back has a brooch pin for attaching the brooch to clothing etc. The brooch measures approximately 6cm (2 .25in) square, not including the lace.
