It measures approximately 62cm from the centre neck to the tip of the point. The gentle gradient colours develop slowly from the paler shades at the centre through to richer colours at the edge. The design uses a variety of crochet stitches for interest and I have finished the border with the quintessential granny stitch. This is a very versatile piece which can be worn with an elegant dress for evening wear or will look equally attractive during the day with jeans. It works beautifully tucked inside the collar of a warm coat or jacket for lovely colder day walks in the country.
