About this item
This amber coloured glass dish with toadstools, pine cones, holly and oak leaves detail can be used as a tealight holder or a trinket dish for pins, jewellery or any other bits and bobs. It would be a thoughtful gift for a friend who loves the colours of autumn or has a birthday in the autumn months, adding a cosy addition to any home. I have made four of this design, each one having visited my kiln three times to create the finished piece. Firstly to fuse a clear glass tile on top of an amber coloured one, I then added the leaf, toadstool and pine cone decorations and fused again. Finally they were slumped in the kiln to create the shallow dish shape. They measure c.3.5cm high at the tallest point and c.10cm square. Although made to the same design, as they are handmade there will be very slight differences between them. Please be aware that due to variations in screen displays, the colours may appear slightly different in person to the photos you see on your screen.
