About this item
A miniature multicoloured fused glass abstract seascape rondel, mounted in a 10 cm square wooden box frame. I create multicoloured slabs of fused glass, each one completely unique. Within each slab, I look for areas of particular colour, pattern and movement that can be transformed into individual pieces. I use a core drill to carefully extract these areas as rondels, which are then fired again to polish and finish the glass. Each rondel is then mounted in a wooden box frame, creating a small original artwork ready to display.
