About this item
This would make a lovely gift for a special friend. This handmade pink terracotta mug has a wonderful quotation from 'The Prophet' by the poet Kahlil Gibran. It is about joy and sorrow being inextricably linked. On the other side is a gold spiral image. ''When you are sorrowful, look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight' The mug handle is impressed. All my pieces are glazed in food safe glazes and are dishwasher safe. Each mug is thrown and decorated by hand and as with any hand built item there will be some variation in size between pieces, which is part of their charm and makes each piece unique. Measurements: H10.5cm (approx) Capacity: 350ml (approx).
