Origami mini clothesline

Twelve items of miniature origami clothing affixed to a washing line with tiny wooden pegs. The set contains four dresses, a skirt, a blouse, a coat, a pair of trousers and matching jacket, a pair of shorts, a shirt and a t-shirt, all designed by Catherine Ard. Each piece of clothing is hand-folded from a single square of paper. The only item where there is a cut is the trousers. Glue is used for durability and to help the pieces to lie flat. The clothing is one-sided and so is best displayed on a wall. The clothes can also be used in crafting, such as scrapbooking or card-making. The paper used to create the clothes is from the Clairefontaine Kiribati collection, featuring flowers, plants and birds in matching and complementary colours. Each set of clothes uses different paper from the same collection. Therefore, while patterns and colours may vary from those shown, the overall tone and style will be the same. The clothes measure up to 14 cm long and 13 cm wide. The clothesline is approximately 1.5m long. The pegs are 2.5 cm long (spares are included). Please note that this is a decoration, not a toy. It contains small parts. The clothes are glued flat and they are one-sided. They are not designed to be used as dolls' clothes. The clothing set and line make a fun and unusual handcrafted gift. They have been displayed across chimney breasts, mirrors and noticeboards, and always give pleasure and delight. Each set of clothes is posted within 3 days by Royal Mail Tracked 48, wrapped in tissue paper in a letterbox-sized box.
