A small wheel-thrown stoneware cup inspired by the beautiful S-shaped profile of "Beaker Folk" pottery. Made from a flecked stoneware clay with natural iron speckles and finished with a clear glaze, allowing the character of the clay to take centre stage. The gently curved shape feels lovely in the hands and is perfect for cupping a warm flat white, cortado or small tea. Holding approximately 175ml, it's designed for everyday use and the simple pleasure of a favourite drink. Each cup is handmade in my Warwickshire studio and will have its own subtle variations in shape and flecking. - Approx. 175ml capacity - Iron-flecked stoneware clay - Wheel-thrown and finished by hand - Food safe - Dishwasher safe Crafted to be used, not just admired.
