About this item
Collected Forms is an original contemporary abstract painting filled with playful shapes, organic forms, botanical motifs and expressive hand-drawn details. Blocks of turquoise, pink, lime green, ochre, orange and deep black sit against a warm neutral background, creating a lively composition that reveals new details the longer you look. Loosely drawn lines, dots, spirals and leaf-like forms give the painting an intentionally imperfect, handmade quality. Inspired by everyday objects, natural forms and the shapes and patterns we encounter around us, the painting combines bold graphic elements with spontaneous mark-making. The result is colourful and uplifting, with a slightly retro, mid-century feel. Painted by hand in acrylic on canvas, Collected Forms is a completely original, one-of-a-kind artwork. Size: 40 x 50 cm Medium: Acrylic on canvas Orientation: Landscape Style: Contemporary Abstract Colourful Geometric Organic
