Extra small bowl covers for dips. Set of two in blues

We were missing a useful size of bowl cover in our kitchen and so I made some! This size is ideal to fit on small pots of houmous and other plastic supermarket pots that come just covered with a film. If there is no clip-on lid, it's difficult to keep the food fresh once the film has been removed, without resorting to foil or cling film. This useful pair of pot covers are made from lovely cheerful cotton fabrics. One is a pale blue decorated with a few little pictures of creatures and lined with white PUL. The other is a blue and yellow floral design, lined with beige PUL. This is a fabric that is laminated with a small amount of plastic. It is safe to be in contact with food, helps to keep it fresh but reduces the need for single-use plastics. An elasticated rim keeps the covers securely in place on your chosen dish or pot. They are washable by hand or machine, making them a hygienic option but often just a wipe with a cloth is enough. I find they are much easier to use than beeswax wraps. These covers will fit bowls and pots of approximately 9 to 11cm in diameter and the elastic means they will adapt to different shapes.
