Sewing needle case with Liberty lawn Ianthe and reclaimed embroidery

Use this little book to keep your sewing needles neat and close at hand. I made the cover using a piece of machine embroidery salvaged from a vintage linen table cloth together with a beautiful Liberty lawn. I machine embroidered the word "Needles" in green thread onto cotton fabric and appliquéd this to the front using pink thread. Vintage style lace and and a sprinkle of buttons also decorate the front. Lined with a yellow cotton fabric which has a tiny floral print. Inside are two leaves of white felt to hold needles and there is a cover button made another scrap of the embroidery and a fabric loop to fasten it closed. Gently padded with fusible fleece. Measures approx 9cm x 13.5cm when closed. This item is one of a kind and is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, whilst I will try to use recycled outer packaging in order to minimise environmental impact.
