Little Nippers are a whole community of tiny wood mice, who live in a maze of little burrows and passages underneath the floor of the barn at Mulberry Farm. They are sometimes very hard to spot and Maisy and her friends rarely see them - but they are always there. The tiny mice all have their own cosy little cottages inside the burrows and work very hard in the fields, gathering seeds and berries, tiny fruits and bits of grain to take back to the burrows to be made into food. They even have their own little barn shops, where they can share the things they find in the fields and get the food they need to look after their families. They are a very happy little community who all take care of each other. There are also young Nippers, who are called Pip Squeaks and babies in prams and carry cots. Little Nippers are 12cm, Pip Squeaks are 10cm, babies are 7cm. Next time you are out, keep your eyes open and you may just see a Little Nipper scurrying about.
Not suitable for children under 3 because of small decorations.
