This homegrown gourd has been carved and painted with cream daisies on a burgundy background. The centre of the daisies have been painted emerald green. This glows in the evenings and casts pretty shadows around the room. Measures 19cm high and 11cm at its widest part. Nestled on a 6cm LED wood base with USB port. Ultra stylish and good for the environment. When lit, it casts magical patterns, perfect for creating a cosy atmosphere. I love making these daisy lamps, ther are so many processes involved. From cleaning the gourd, designing, cutting, sanding, painting - several coats! I love mixing the colurs too. The icing on the cake is the real gold leaf for the centre of the daisies. In this case, i used 13ct gold leaf.
