About this item
Very small textile art quilts mounted onto an Eco-friendly, hand made paper backing. All of the quilts are completely hand made by me using up-cycled, reclaimed fabric in natural fibers. A combination of hand painting, embroidery, pieced patchwork and applique has been used to create unique and individual art work with a colour palette of black, red, cream and very dark navy blue. The design incorporates motifs inspired by vintage antique Welsh quilt designs including stripes, hearts and bold colour blocking. Dimensions; Art work - 6 x 6 cm, backing - 15 x 15 cm.
