Wild Mushroom Wall Art, Limited Edition Handmade Screenprint

Inspired by British woodland walks in the autumn, the vibrant red and dusty pink within this piece take on some of the natural colours of wild fungi. This small mushroom piece is the perfect little quirky pop of colour to brighten up a shelving unit, small space or to be part of a gallery wall. 'Shaggy Parasol Mushrooms' is a limited/variable edition hand pulled screen-print with a small edition size of 18. There is also a small series of an orange colourway available. This image was created from my original drawings and collages using handmade printed textures. Three separate images were created, transferred to silkscreens and then screen printed on top of one another to make up the final design. Each print is unique, no two are the same. In this particular piece, the green and red acrylic paint were spread freshly onto the screen using a pallet knife or brush before each 'pull', meaning the marks created with these colours will vary slightly from piece to piece, making each print truly original! This is a hand made print, not a digital print. I hand print everything myself in my home studio in Leicestershire, UK. Prints are created using acrylic paints on 300gsm acid free paper. Each print is titled, numbered and signed in pencil. Please note actual colours may vary due to monitor settings but I have done my best to capture the artwork as true to life as possible in different lighting conditions. Actual paper size: 20.4cm x 20.4cm or 8 inch x 8 inch Please Note: Frame not included, used for display purposes only. The print fits nicely in a standard 8x 8 inch frame.
