Stained Glass and Wire Heart Suncatcher - Handmade - red

Stained glass and wire heart made in beautiful red sea glass. I haven't made one of these for some time, long overdue so I hope you like it. This would make a lovely anniversary, wedding, Valentine's present or just a present for someone special. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered. I have added a twisted wire boarder both on the inside and outsides of the heart for interest and structure. I have applied a patina to blacken the solder. Red sea glass has been used inside the wire hearts and a large red nugget at the bottom. A large cut glass chandelier tear drop has been hung from the centre of the heart with 4 small hexagonal chandelier drops wired around the sides. A length of fishing line and hook have been attached for hanging purposes. This sun catcher measures 23cms x 26cms. I will supply a window hook so you can hang it up on the window as soon as you receive it. Please remember to wet the plunger before you pushing firmly onto the window. This item will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24 post. Please note as made of glass if dropped it may break resulting in sharp edges so care should be taken. The chandelier drop in the centre is cut glass which could magnify the sun so please take into account when choosing which window to hang in.
