This listing is for two of my handmade lavender bags which would make lovely Christmas gifts for friends or family members. Both pretty and practical and they're also the ideal size to send as letterbox gifts. They feature a colourful print of my design of a folk bird among the flowers and I've added batik wings and embellished a few of the flowers with seed beads to add interest and texture. The bags are filled with dried lavender that I picked myself from this season's harvest. The delicate scent of lavender will help keep those pesky clothes moths away and they have pretty ribbon loops so they can either be placed in drawers or hung in wardrobes. I particularly enjoy combining unexpected materials, patterns and colours to create unique mixed-media pieces — so there’s always something a little different to discover. I’m also a big believer in happy postage! If you find more than one item you’d like, I ALWAYS combine postage and refund any excess. I know it can be a little alarming to see the postage total increase as you add items to your basket, but please don’t worry.
