About this item
From a hand painted skein of Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) I spun this lovely little 100g set. BFL is so soft and can be worn happily next to the skin, obviously so long as you're not allergic to wool! The colours in this are stunning, I bought the hand painted roving fibre from Feral Fibres on Instagram and spun it up as a 2-ply yarn. I did this over 2 and a bit skeins as I was working with a smaller bobbin on my wheel and didn't want to have to tie a knot in the wool. Coming across a knot in a skein is always annoying! 2-ply 100g 13wpi / DK weight 117 metres / 127 yards HAND WASH ONLY - This is a natural fibre and will shrink in the washing machine. As this is a hand dyed product, some colours may come out a little in the first wash, but I have washed this after spinning and the water was clear.
