About this item
"I love being married It's great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life". This is an A6 Letterpress printed card. Printed on a desktop printing press dating from the 1950s, with lead type individually hand-set. Each colour was separately applied. This is the perfect size for framing into an IKEA DALSKARR (or any) 13x8cm frame (frame not included), or could be used as a postcard and sent through the mail. Set in a Vintage 30-point Grotesque Font and printed on either 220gsm Fine White, or 160gsm Ivory Stock. Size is A6, 105x148mm. The reverse is blank. Supplied in a cellophane envelope. The nature of letterpress, with the design applied using pressure, leaves a slight indent in the card. This is how printing was done before the advent of digital printing, with every item slightly different and containing subtle variations. I only printed 5 of each variation, and they can never be reproduced exactly again. The background pattern, yellow or orange, is random and unique.
