About this item
Brooch/pin hand embroidered flowers on a needlefelted green background. A lovely unique item to give to someone who loves wearing unusual jewellery. Each flower garden brooch is a unique combination of colours, stitches and flowers. Made from wool means the brooch is very light and easy to wear. Can be used as a bag charm or decoration. This woolly brooch has been made from unspun wool. I made a base from cream core wool and used dyed unspun wool to create a background in green. I added a small amount of coloured fibre to create flowers and added hand embroidery petals using a variety of stitches. A brooch safety fastener has been securely sewn onto the reverse. Presented in a white box with a black padded insert. Measures 5 cm across. I use mainly recycled packaging
