Pair of Sea Shell Mugs

Made completely by hand, this pair of rustic sea shell inspired mugs have twisted rope inspired handles and shell bottoms, which have been left unglazed in toasted clay. I love a slow Sunday morning drinking coffee at the beach, collecting shells and watching all the waggy tails whilst the sun rises. These mugs remind me of those cold beach mornings, when the coffee tastes extra good....doesn't it always taste better in a hand made mug!? My partner and I both like different size coffee's so this pair comes as a larger and small matching pair. These mugs come as a pair and are glazed with brush on glazes. A mixture of matt glaze and reactive flux to create this sandy shoreline effect. The bottoms have been left in their unglazed state - They are rustic, organic and full of seaside charm. The larger of the two mugs measures approximately 8.5cm in diameter and just over 10.5cm high. The smaller of the two is approximately 7cm in diameter and just over 10.5cm high. Both will be packaged in protective wrapping, then tissue paper and sealed in a box before sending -Perfect for gifting, especially for a couple!
