Full description
A warm and cosy handwoven scarf in rich earthy shades of brown, gold and muted natural tones. Designed in a shorter, wider format, this is an easy-to-wear scarf that sits comfortably under a coat without the bulk of a longer wrap.
The scarf is woven in random stripes using two handspun yarns alongside a wool and alpaca blend warp. The handspun weft includes a soft Bluefaced Leicester/bamboo blend and a Corriedale wool yarn, both handspun from fibres prepared by Adelaide Walker. The slightly thicker, worsted-weight handspun yarn creates a beautifully textured fabric with plenty of warmth and character.
Substantial yet comfortable to wear, this scarf is ideal for chilly autumn and winter days and makes a practical everyday accessory as well as a unique handmade gift.
