About this item
Handmade fused glass heart designed to show standing stones against a bright summer sky. Would make a lovely gift or a treat for yourself, pleasantly tactile and fits nicely in the hand. The heart measures approximately 5cm x 5cm and is 9mm thick with a smooth top surface a lightly textured back. Made using mixed sizes of glass frit combined with small pieces cut from glass sheet to make the stones, a small pre-fired dot and pretty murrini pansy flowers. Each heart that I make due to the placement of the glass and its movement while being fired in the kiln which also creates small bubbles which will very from piece to piece. The heart will be sent attached to a backing card using a mounting pad with temporary adhesive so that the heart can be easily removed. Packaged in a small cardboard gift envelope tied with ribbon.
