Stained glass iris - purple with white wispy petals

A single stained glass iris crafted in striking shades of purple. The main petals are made from a stunning mid purple glass with natural lighter wisps that glow softly in the light. The secondary petals are cut from deep purple Van Gogh glass, adding texture, depth, and a subtle shimmer. A small piece of gold Van Gogh glass forms the beard, catching the light with a warm, radiant sparkle. The finished piece measures approximately 17cm tall by 11cm wide. Two hanging loops are soldered to the reverse, and it is recommended that both are used for secure display. Each element is hand cut and shaped using the traditional Tiffany copper foil method. Every piece of glass is wrapped, soldered, cleaned, and polished by hand; sometimes a patina is added to deepen the finish. Craft glass naturally carries tiny variations, swirls, and textures, making every iris completely unique. Photographs are taken in natural light to show the colours as faithfully as possible.
