These wish sticks were inspired by the calming rhythm of colour and the way light moves through streaky and wispy glass. The seven‑colour design echoes the gentle progression of a rainbow or chakra sequence, creating a sense of balance and flow. Choosing the glass is a mindful part of the process — each sheet has its own swirls, clouds and translucent patches that bring depth and softness to the finished piece.
The long, simple form invites a slower pace of making. Cutting each segment, foiling the edges and soldering them into a straight, even line becomes almost meditative in itself. When the wish stick is held up to the light for the first time, the colours glow in a way that feels both grounding and uplifting. It’s a small piece designed to bring a moment of calm, intention or quiet joy into everyday spaces.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
This listing is for one stained glass rainbow wish stick, made from a range of new semi opaque wispy and streaky glass in seven colours. The blend of textures and tones creates a soft, glowing rainbow when the light shines through, making it a lovely piece for meditation, mindfulness or simply bringing colour into a quiet corner of the home.
Wish sticks cast beautiful shifting colours as the sun moves, and many people enjoy using them as a visual focus for grounding, intention setting or calm breathing.
The finished piece measures approximately 26.5 cm long by 4 cm wide, including the hanging hook at the red end. It is recommended that you secure the hook to two separate points for stability. There is a little natural flex in the wish stick, so please take care not to bend or twist it, as this may weaken the soldered joints.
Each wish stick is made using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
Price is for the glass item only.
Postage cost is for second class, tracked delivery of a tube. We apologise for the cost of postage but this is a longer item and does not fit into the lower price postage criteria. Any overspend on postage it always returned to the buyer.
